Assessment and Diagnosis: It is divided into two parts; The first part is to thoroughly examine the patient that includes: (1) Observation; Face, Tongue, Hand diagnosis, Listen and smell. (2) Palpation; Pulse diagnosis and local palpation. The second part of diagnosis is logically interpreting the information gathered in the examinations, or discriminating patterns of imbalance.

Pulse ExaminationHerbal Medicine:  (1) Traditional Chinese herbal Medicine are part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and have been used in China for thousands of years. Traditional Chinese herbal medicine are a large part of TCM. They can be given as pills, teas, powders, liquid extracts, or syrups. Hundreds of different types of herbs are used in TCM, and TCM practitioners often use combinations of herbs rather than a single herb, and often use herbal remedies along with other therapies, such as acupuncture, moxibustion,  massage.

(2) Japanese Kampo Medicine: Kampo medicines are traditional Japanese herbal medicines used in Japan for more than 1500 years. They were introduced from ancient China and are now fully integrated into the modern health care system and is adapted to Japanese culture.

Acupuncture: Acupuncture is an effective form of medical treatment that has evolved into a complete holistic health care system. Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive treatment method to help millions of people become well and stay well.  Acupuncture promotes natural healing. Moxibustion: This is a TCM therapy that consists of burning dried mugwort (moxa) on particular points on the body. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences (Video available below). 

Cupping: Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage


Osteopathic and Sotai Treatment: Sotai, a Japanese form of structural realignment that relieves pain, balance mobility.
